What PlainLaw Insight Is

PlainLaw Insight is a legal language translator and issue-spotting tool. It helps users understand legal documents in plain English, identify areas that may deserve closer review, and prepare better questions for a licensed attorney.

What PlainLaw Insight Is Not

PlainLaw Insight is not a law firm, not a lawyer, and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client services. No attorney-client relationship is created by use of this Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.

Account Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Documents You Submit

You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant JMCamellia, LLC a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the Service. Your documents and generated reports are stored in your private account until you delete them or close your account. Do not submit highly sensitive personal data such as government IDs, medical records, or financial account numbers.

AI-Generated Output

Reports are generated with AI assistance and may contain errors. Always have a licensed attorney review important legal matters. PlainLaw Insight does not authorize AI providers to train their models on your content. See our AI Use & Governance Policy for details.

Fees and Subscriptions

Paid features are governed by the pricing terms presented at purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

JMCamellia, LLC's total liability is capped at fees you paid in the prior 12 months or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Disputes are resolved in Virginia courts.
